The Ruwersma Review – September 23
Despite the fact that the Detroit Lions beat the Green Bay Packers on Sunday (19-7) the Wisconsin Cheeseheads were friendly to us Michiganders. We were able to share our ministry in two churches.
Sunday morning we visited Rock Lake Baptist Church in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. Pastor Kobosh was a former missionary to South Africa (near to where Anna was born) and possesses a genuine heart for world evangelism. It was nice to talk about missions over a proper cup of tea with him and his wife, Beth, Sunday afternoon.
From Lake Mills we drove a few hours northwest to a sweet country church in Camp Douglas, Wisconsin. Pastor and Mrs. Davidson were so kind to our family and we enjoyed spending the evening with them.
Support Update: We are rejoicing over the many answers to prayer we have had in the past few weeks. We’ve seen our support jump nearly 6% in 14 days! We are thankful for the five new churches who have generously partnered with us. This boost has been terrific and with their help we are getting closer to leaving for our destination – the United Kingdom!
Thank you for taking the time to catch up on our ministry.
