The Ruwersma Review – November 25
Hello from our home in Michigan. It feels good to finally be home after being on the road for three weeks. We are staying busy catching up on correspondence, scheduling meetings, preparing for the baby, and decorating for Christmas! As we anticipate spending time with family on Thanksgiving we are reminded of the many blessings we received this year.
1. We are thankful God gave us an adoption placement this year. After a long wait and many prayers we are looking forward to bringing our baby boy home soon!
2. We are thankful for many of you who have committed to partner with our ministry through prayer and financial support. If it wasn’t for sacrificial people like you, we wouldn’t be able to serve the Lord in the United Kingdom.
3. God gave us safety and protection during our many travels. We are always thankful to arrive unharmed, especially during a snowy, rainy, or icy trip.
4. It’s always neat to see a church get excited for missions, whether at home or abroad. We are thankful we had the opportunity to share our ministry and encourage churches to do their part in sharing the gospel.
We had the privilege to share our ministry with two churches this week. One of the churches voted to have us join their missions program at the conclusion of the service!
