The Ruwersma Review – April 22

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! We hope you enjoyed celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Amazingly, we were able to schedule a meeting on Easter Sunday in Fort Madison, Iowa. We had a great response from the church as we shared our video, testimonies, and Kevin preached during the evening service.

Yesterday we traveled 6 hours to Indiana and we are staying in a lovely prophet’s chamber. Noah is happy because it has a large yard with a swing set and Anna is happy because it has a washer and dryer. πŸ˜‰Β  Sometimes doing laundry on deputation is a luxury.

We were home two days last week and packed in all the memories we could with family. Thursday Noah spent time with Nana and Papa (Anna’s parents) and Friday we hung out with Grandpa and Grandma Ruwersma. We try to squeeze in as much time with family during the few days we have at home.

Nana shared the story of Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection with the Resurrection Eggs. He loved it!

We are bracing ourselves for a VERY busy week. In the next 10 days we will be in 15 meetings! On Wednesday we will be in a single meeting followed by three mission conferences back to back. Kevin will also be speaking during chapel at two Christian colleges. We are thankful God has filled our schedule. Please pray we will encourage those we meet, physical strength during the early mornings and late nights, and safety during the many miles we will travel. We have been in more churches in the past three months than in the first five months of deputation.

Please come back next Tuesday to see more pictures. I promise to have more ministry pictures than family ones. ha ha This week I just couldn’t resist. πŸ˜‰
