October-November Prayer Letter
“Where does Noah get his blond hair from?” is a question we hear countless times during deputation. After we mention God gave Noah to us through the gift of adoption we sometimes hear, “Oh, we’ve adopted our children!” or “I’ve always wanted to adopt.” or “I’m adopted!” November is National Adoption Month and we are thankful God chose adoption for our family. We appreciate many of you who are diligent to pray for our current adoption process. We are still waiting for a placement and eager to receive THE PHONE CALL!
October and November were busy and fruitful months as we presented our burden for the United Kingdom in ten mission conferences! During this time we received news of three more churches who have partnered with us financially. We are pleased with the progress we have seen so far and anticipate arriving in England the middle of 2015.
After being away from home for nearly two weeks our van began to hum down the road. The noise got louder and louder over the next week, but we were thankful to make it safely home. Kevin was able to replace the wheel bearings and the van is riding smoothly again. With many miles on the road, we are thankful for God’s protection and safety. Please pray that we don’t have any major problems with our vehicle this winter.
It has been nice to be home for a few weeks and only travel to churches on the weekends. Our work has shifted from extensive traveling to preparing and scheduling upcoming meetings for 2014. Kevin has been able to schedule many meetings recently and we are looking forward to a full schedule next year!
We are thankful for each one of you who are faithful to pray for us and support us financially. May you enjoy a wonderful Christmas season!
