January-February Prayer Letter

untitled (5 of 7)

Since beginning deputation in June this has been the most encouraging month so far! We’ve experienced blessing after blessing, most of them completely unexpected. In the matter of two weeks we had six churches partner with us financially! Three of the six churches voted to support us at the conclusion of the church service. We walked away rejoicing and one step closer to stepping foot in England. This month has left our hearts overwhelmed with praise.

January laid the foundation for our year as we planned, prepared, and set goals for the upcoming months. Kevin was able to book 30 meetings during January, bringing our total of churches scheduled this year to 90!  To start 2014 off strong has given us new motivation to do our very best during our deputation journey.

Our “harvest” is a direct answer to the specific prayers we have prayed and the prayers of those who invest in our ministry.  This has not only strengthened our faith, but also the faith of those praying for us. God has granted us protection as we traveled over 7,000 miles throughout five states,  given us 18 meetings including 4 mission conferences, provided meals and lodging, and brought some amazing people into our lives!

We are anticipating good results for the months of March and April. We will be in 26 churches including nine mission conferences! We would ask you, will YOU pray for our specific needs this month? Here are a few prayer requests:

  1. An adoption placement to happen soon
  2. To fill the last few dates of our calendar (Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and a few midweek services )
  3. For our support to come in quickly
  4. Safety and health as we travel

To stay informed about our ministry we invite you to like us on Facebook at Revive Thy Work UK and follow our blog at www.theruwersmafamily.com.  Thank you!

We are thankful for every opportunity we have to share our ministry to the UK.

We are starting the downsizing, sorting, donating stage of our journey (when we are home!).
